a scapple a day keeps the wolves at bay

This a big old white board/canvas. You pull things there -- text, pics, screen snaps. You link them together with arrows in about the easiest way possible. You move the objects (boxes) around any old place. You can rearrange ideas (arrows follow), sort, quasi-outline, concept map, quasi-mind-map. Collect the info stuff you need for a project on a scapple, sort, arrange, filter, sift and use the scapple to write, graph, visualize, mind map. Can be great as a journal also (I create one a day). Pretty amazing app, worth the relatively high price. Highest recommendation. Also perfect for student notes. [If you like, you can create artistic mind maps, images in another program and easily drag them onto the scapple along with pictures.]
